Phi Edge is the first AI engine purpose-built to predict the outcome of a cricket match ball by ball. It watches cricket as it happens, predicts what’s coming next, and tells you why. Phi Edge is the Official AI Prediction Partner of the 2026 Republic Bank Caribbean Premier League.
What we built
Phi Edge combines three streams of data: the historical record of players, grounds and conditions; live match events as they happen; and betting and prediction market pricing. It runs an ensemble – several models working the same problem in parallel – and consolidates them into a single live probability that updates ball-by-ball as play unfolds.

Watches every ball
It takes in the live match as it happens: the score, the over, who is batting, who is bowling.
Predicts what is next
After every ball the model updates who is winning, and looks ahead to the overs, phases and matchups still to come.
Explains the why
The system draws on the history behind every call: how this batter handles this bowler, at this ground, at this stage of an innings.
What we display
On the match page, a graph plots probabilities after every ball and updates our win prediction number after every over. Each prediction carries a confidence score: how sure we are of the prediction at that moment. Read how we calibrate this and measure disagreement between models.
